Event Alert: City Nation Place Annual Forum in London, 9 November 2017

The 3rd City Nation Place Global Forum will take place in London, UK, on 9 November. This one day conference is packed with promising speakers, many of whom we have interviewed. Like last year, The Place Brand Observer supports this flagship event for place branding professionals as media partner.

The City Nation Place conference brings together place leaders, mayoral teams, city planners, heads of economic development and destination marketers from across the globe, for a mixture of briefings, keynote presentations, panel discussions and workshop sessions.

Why attend?

Taking place November 9th with an optional Think Tank on the afternoon of the 8th, participating in this event will enable you to learn about latest place branding work together with like-minded professionals. You’ll hear about key challenges, good practice examples, and benefit from high level, face-to-face networking opportunities (our editor will be there as well).

For those new to Place Branding, we especially recommend the think tank/workshop on the afternoon prior to the conference, in which Robert Govers and Martin Boisen will shed light on the differences between place marketing and place branding – which are still often misunderstood.

Other speakers who have been interviewed by The Place Brand Observer include David Adam (UK), Malcolm Allan (UK), Jose Torres (Spain), Inga Hlín Pálsdóttir (Iceland), Juan Carlos Belloso (Spain), Andy Levine (USA), Chris Fair (USA), Anupam Yog (Singapore) and Rick Buck Song Koh (Singapore).

Tip: make sure you join our community of Premium subscribers prior to the event for free access to those interviews. Knowing about the stories, thoughts and experiences of those leading professionals will make networking with them much easier!
