The Global Financial Centres Index 34 ranks Tel Aviv 57th, jumping eight positions from the previous ranking. It holds the fourth place in the MENA region.
According to 2thinknow’s Innovation Cities Index 2022-2023, Tel Aviv ranks 40th, a jump of 51 positions from the previous ranking. The city now sits between Helsinki (39th) and Hamburg (41st).
City Brand Strength and Reputation
According to Brand Finance’s City Index 2023, Tel Aviv ranks 91st globally, between Lagos (90th) and Hanoi (92nd).
Resonance’s 2023 World’s Best Cities Report ranks Tel Aviv 47th, right between Hong Kong (46th) and Athens (48th).
Kearney’s 2023 Global Cities Report ranks Tel Aviv 57th, dropping five positions compared to last year’s publication. Moreover, it ranks 55th, a jump of five positions, in Global City Outlook.
The Global Power City Index ranks Tel Aviv 40th. Notably, the city ranks 9th for Nightlife Options.
Livability: Appeal for Talent, Locals, Visitors
The Mercer Quality of Living City Ranking places Tel Aviv 127th, tying with Rabat. Mercer’s Cost of Living Ranking ranks it 8th, between Bern (7th) and Copenhagen (9th). The cost of living survey reports that factors such as currency fluctuations, cost inflation for goods and services, and instability of accommodation prices are key to determining the cost of expat packages for employees on international assignment.
